Scan Convertor

The VectorVGA Pro Scan Convertor enables you to view stroke video outputs from radar and sonar devices, spectrum analyzers, electronic warfare (EW) units, Heads Up Display (HUD) generators, and many other legacy vector sources using low cost off-the-shelf monitors. Rasterized stroke video output can be recorded using standard video recording devices.

The VectorVGA Pro generates high quality video by digitizing your legacy system's analog signals. After digitization by high speed analog to digital convertors, the signals are rendered, frame-buffered, and output as standard format raster analog and digital video. The VectorVGA Pro utilizes a powerful FPGA to render 65 million samples per second, resulting in faithfully rendered vectors that are true to the original analog signals.

Features:

Accurately converts XYZ / XYRGB stroke signals (such as radar, sonar, HUD) to raster video
Custom form factors and controls available to suit project-specific needs
Enables stroke video to be viewed on any low cost COTS display
Configurable to custom resolutions

Replacement Display

Form, fit, function (FFF) replacement displays are designed to replace obsolete or inoperable X-Y stroke displays as drop in substitutes when the original product is no longer available or supported by the manufacturer.

Many defense organizations and industries need to service and maintain equipment beyond the original manufacturer’s product life cycle. Often the original manufacturer no longer exists or replacement components are no longer available.

IST's engineers have designed and implemented several new products with equivalent form and functions to the HP 1332A, HP 1304A, HP 1311A, and TEK 604. The new displays function as a drop-in replacements without modification to existing infrastructure or interface electronics. Often, IST is able to add improved functionality, features, and reliability over the original equipment.

Custom

HP1311 ReplacementWhat sets the VectorVGA Pro apart from the competition is the fact that each system can be customized for your specific needs. No more spending hours reading long manuals and setting dozens of configuration options that don't apply to your system. Simply tell our engineers what you need and we will make sure your system is configured properly.

Our custom configuration means you only pay for what you need; you don't pay a premium for input and output options you'll never use. IST will provide the level of engineering support you require to ensure your system integration is a success.
